Best thing about living in BTV? Since I’ve moved here, I eat about 5 different types of cuisine I never would have tried otherwise – Burlington has some of the greatest restaurants I’ve ever been to, and the best thing is, there’s always a new one to try. (Oh, and I like the lake, too.

Favorite Music? Lately I’m really into Ingrid Michaelson, Ray Lamontagne, Johnny Cash, Girl Talk… It’s always a mixed bag.
Favorite Thing About Working at PMG? When you combine a client list full of unique, socially responsible companies with an incredibly creative, open work environment, you get PMG – and that results in a great team with a work ethic I continue to be impressed by each day. I never stop learning, and every day is different!
Favorite Teams/Sports? It’s well known in the office that I’m the resident Yankees fan. Though I’ve lived in Vermont for five years now and have found myself slowly being turned on to several New England sports teams, I’ll always remain a New York (state)-er and a Yankees fan for life.
Favorite Quote? “Trust the instinct until the end, though it may render no reason.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson. This quote continues to ring true through many different phases of my life.

Posted on 29. Dec, 2010 by Nicole Ravlin Each year, Ken and I take the week between Christmas and the New Year to take a look at our business. We spend time thinking about company policies, planning for the year ahead, and outlining goals for ourselves, the team and the business. It allows us to start the year as every firm should, focused on our clients. The running joke is that PMG gets a gift every Christmas… we love Santa! In the past, our office always got some small upgrade. One year it was a change over to Macs from PCs, another we got new carpet. Last year we made a big move and upgraded our office. It was a stressful (but fun) week as we moved from One Main Street to Three Main Street. With the help of Creative Office Pavilion, we made over PMG and our associates returned to a slick new space. From December 2009 — Ken checking out the new Herman Miller cubes being built: One year later… PMG “world headquarters”: This year, we are anticipating growth in 2011 – and are in the process of figuring out where and how we will grow with our great landlord, Melinda Moulton. That said, Ken and I just purchased a new piece of furniture for our conference room and we will be replacing our Keurig (which is on the fritz). We’re excited about the direction that PMG is heading! Thanks to all of our partners who make our jobs such a pleasure. What a Year!

Under Construction

So, we are headed into our second week of renovations at PMG’s Burlington, VT headquarters. What’s new? We will have new environmentally sound carpet by the end of the year, a couple of walls will be painted and we have new windows.
Oh – and we will be lead free!
It has been a little crazy here with hammering and playing musical desks. But, it certainly has made coming to work more adventurous!
We look forward to welcoming you to our updated digs after Jan. 1.
